YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a great Executive Assistant to support the CEO as the company is entering into new and exciting projects. You will be assisting the CEO in a wide variety of daily tasks ultimately ensuring that the company operations run smoothly.
You will be working in a fun but fast-paced environment, so should be able to work under pressure while still maintaining a positive attitude to people around you. You need to be bright, energetic, and have excellent communication skills. This is a challenging but highly rewarding job that will enable you to make a difference at the highest levels of the company.
The CEO is looking to invest time and effort to create a great long-term working relationship. Your views and input into the company’s work will be valued and expected.
You will:-
- Assist the CEO and Management team with their daily workload
- Liaise and help the CEO communicate with all Echion stakeholders including staff, shareholders, service providers, suppliers, partners and customers
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
- Manage the CEO’s diary
- Arrange the CEO’s calls, meetings, events and travel
- Prepare meeting minutes and help action meeting outcomes on a rolling basis
- Maintain and organise documents, presentation, databases, folders, etc.
- Keep track of the CEO’s to-do list and manage simple projects
- Work with other administrative staff to ensure company processes run smoothly
- Manage planned team engagement for the company
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for people with a strong mix of the below:
- At least 3 years office/PA/EA experience
- High attention to detail, efficient and very organised
- Proficiency with MS Office, common cloud-based professional software, and good general IT skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Good basic graphic design skills to prepare documents and presentations to professional standards
- Enthusiasm, confidence and a positive attitude
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills – training opportunities will be available
JOB SPECIFICS
- Salary £30,000-37,000 per year depending on experience
- Range of company benefits including private health insurance, pension scheme, share incentive scheme, cycle-to-work scheme
- Full time position, Monday to Friday, available as soon as possible
- Part-time will be considered for the right candidate
- Permanent position
- You will be expected to spend at least 3 days a week in our brand-new offices in Sawston, Cambridge, UK
- Ability to commute/relocate: Cambridge, CB22 3FG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
