We have a high-profile (Hybrid working) opportunity for an experienced C-Suite Executive Assistant (EA) to join our established Slough based Executive Support Team.
Your mission in this position will be to provide full EA support our C-Suite members helping them to be proactive, effective, and organised. This is predominantly a supporting role with some diary and meeting support for seven direct reports from the leadership team. The role will be busy and varied. You will be organising meetings, running a very busy diary and inbox, organising international travel itineraries as well as many other day-to-day tasks.
You will be proactive and seek out ways to add value at every opportunity, have the confidence and ability to work independently whilst knowing when to escalate issues and ask for support. You will take pride in representing our team, championing their agenda and being an effective gate keeper.
To be successful you will have previous EA experience ideally having supported a C-Suite level executives in a FTSE 100/250 listed company. You will be used to dealing with members of the Board and Executive Committee as well as proficient use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Powerpoint. Other key skills will include excellent organisational skills, a positive and flexible approach to working hours and always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage execitive office administration requirements.
- Handle high level office calls and visitors.
- Coordinate with International Head Office/Regional Offices on pertinent business matters.
- Handle complex business travel arrangements, hotel accommodation, ticket reservations, itineraries, etc.
- Organising appointments and diary management on a daily basis.
- Handle administrative and logistics arrangements for conferences and high level meetings.
- Project management of tasks as assigned from time to time.

The Individual
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate organisation
- Well organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of dealing with senior executives, senior external contacts, and management and staff at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining professional standards
- Self-motivated and proactive by instinct
- Calm, clear and confident in approach
- Excellent MS Office background
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment
- Knowledge/Skills: Professional and exceptional telephone manners
- Excellent correspondence and administrative skills
- Technical knowledge of or ability to learn SAP system
- Product knowledge or ability to learn about John Crane product portfolio & product codes
