ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role you will support the CEO of Allianz Partners UK and Ireland and work closely with the Executive team in the day-to-day management of these business units. Your mission is to maximise the efficiency of the Exec team, ensuring managerial decisions and strategic initiatives are acted on, tracked, and followed through until their completion. This implies being the communication interface with many internal stakeholders within the Business Units as well as Global Office and Regional counterparts.
You will coordinate a project portfolio, reporting regularly to the Exec team on the most important initiatives, progress, and escalations. Furthermore, you will also participate in or lead specific projects. As an example, on your first year you will be closely supporting the Ireland BU, as the main touchpoint between the Irish team and the Exec team, to ensure that the BU receives the right support at the right time.

This is a unique opportunity to closely work with the Executive team and other key stakeholders. You will participate in all Exec team meetings and help prepare materials. It provides you great exposure to senior management and to a very wide range of range business topics, from sales and growth to financial, operational and people topics, thus opening various international career steps.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the CEO/ Exec team and liaise with other top managers
- Independently and actively support the CEO in steering the strategic agenda
- Lead or participate in projects / initiatives requiring project management skills and analysis
- Coordinate the project portfolio, tracking progress of major initiatives and reporting them to the Exec team
- Prepare Exec meetings, capture decisions and actions, and follow-up on action items
- Provide effective support in preparing high quality documents (internal and external presentations, briefings, reports, newsletters…)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and solution-oriented mindset
- Extremely structured and organized approach towards work, with strong attention to details
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish trust relationships with all levels of the organization
- Excellent prioritization skills: Ability to filter information, effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven experience analyzing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions
- Ability to synthetize information into effective executive summaries
- Curiosity and learning agility
- Excellent academic qualification (ideally Master)
- At least 5-7 years of experience in areas such as business administration, project management, key functions, and/or consulting background
- Good understanding of the insurance and assistance business
- Experience working with intercultural teams in an international and dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically excellent skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Fluent in English including excellent writing skills
