The Role
The overall purpose of an Executive Assistant is to support to one or more of the Executive(s) and/or Senior Leader Team (SLT). This position will support the President of Cunard and member/s of their SLT.
There’s never been a more exciting time to join the Cunard Team. With the hugely anticipated arrival of our newest ship Queen Anne just a year away, the brand is significantly growing in all aspects.
You will:
- Manage and maintain diaries and emails prioritising and delegating as agreed
- Draft communication content along with preparing presentations and reports
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes / actions points for team
- Organise events and travel arrangements
- Complete general administrative duties across the team(s), including processing payments/expenses
- Arrange inductions for new starters.
The above will require close collaboration with other Executive Assistants (EA), Personal Assistants (PA) and key stakeholders.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK11 and is offered on a full time permanent basis with at least two days based in our Southampton office.
About You
Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:
- Demonstrable EA or PA experience at a senior level
- Experience of managing complex diaries across time zones
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite in particular PowerPoint and Word
- The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
- An ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion
- An awareness of confidentiality of tasks undertaken and use of appropriate discretion
