Scope and remit
To provide support to the Managing Director in administrative tasks, liaising with We Are Wakefield members and with the organising and management of events.
Personal duties
PA/Administrative duties
· Responding to emails.
· Diary management.
· Answering the phone/fielding calls.
· Onboarding new members – setting them up on the system.
· Liaising with external resources for the creation of the newsletter.
· Liaising with external resources for marketing and membership materials.
· Creating template documents.
· Creating and updating standard operating procedures.
· Business development and assistance with marketing activities.
· Finance functions, to include invoicing and bank reconciliations in Xero.
· Keeping the Customer Relationship Management system up to date.
· Obtaining testimonials and feedback from members.
· Assistance with the WAW diary – mapping out dates and participants for events, podcasts, workshops etc.
· Prepare agendas and minute Board meetings where required.
· Event duties
· To assist with identification of new venues.
· Setting up event details on Eventbrite.
· Preparation before events – making sure everything is packed and prepared.
· Attendance at events – flexibility will be required as some early mornings and evening events.
· Assistance at events to set up, welcome members and be an active participant, engaging with all members.
· Assistance to pack up after events have finished.
In addition to the elements in this job description, this role also includes such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.
Knowledge, training and experience required
· Familiarity with basic software – Windows, Microsoft Office etc
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
· Ability to learn and use a multitude of systems

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
