We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to act as an Executive Assistant to several senior members of staff in a busy and exciting neuroimaging centre with over 300 members, the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN).
You will deal with a wide range of matters, sometimes of a confidential nature, in support of senior staff including WIN Director, Heidi Johansen-Berg and Director of Operations, Stuart Clare. You will have responsibility for a range of processes including arranging meetings (such as the WIN committee and board meetings), coordinating weekly centre meetings, submitting expenses, maintaining records, and responding to emails. You will also provide cover for reception at the WIN for up to 1 day a week plus holiday cover.
This role involves working with the administration team at WIN, as well as researchers, students and external visitors. You will be part of a core team that facilitates world-class research at the centre and requires an individual with excellent organisation and communication skills.
It is essential that the post holder is educated to at least A-level or equivalent qualification. It is desirable for the post-holder to have experience of using financial information systems (e.g. Oracle Financials) and experience of managing the office of a senior member of staff in higher education setting.
This post is full time and fixed term for 2 years.
