Marketing and Administrative Executive
Role Type: Full time
Location: Solihull, West Midlands, UK. Hybrid Working (Remote & Office Based)
Duration: 6-12 Month Rolling Contract
Rate: £24,000-£28,000 per year.
Job Description:
The Marketing and Administrative Executive will be responsible for supporting the marketing and administrative functions of the company. This includes assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, and providing administrative support to the team i.e., organising team meetings, taking minutes, planning team events.
Role Requirements:
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, and content marketing.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts and content calendars to drive audience engagement, increase followership, and promote brand awareness.
- Create and design marketing materials including banners, flyers and posters.
- Conduct market research to inform marketing decisions.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, responding to emails, and taking minutes in team meetings.
- Coordinate events and promotional activities.
- Respond to company enquiries via phone or email.
- Manage office supplies by taking inventory and placing orders.
- Organising meetings, taking notes, and updating computer records.
- Maintaining office correspondence and making travel arrangements for staff where necessary.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in executing marketing activities.
- Creating and publishing blog posts and articles on the company’s website and social media pages.
- Analysing market data to prepare coherent marketing campaign reports.
- Sourcing advertisement opportunities using selective platforms.
- Managing the marketing database and email distribution lists.
Applicant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Business Administration/ Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing and/or administrative support.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Can pay close attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and social media platforms including twitter and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with content management systems and automated marketing software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Right to work in the UK.
