Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pro-active and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Chief Nursing Officer, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer and Directors within the Nursing Team at the Northern Care Alliance (NCA).
The role is busy and varied, and the successful postholder will provide accurate, prompt, confidential and efficient support to the Chief Nursing Officer and Team. Main responsibilities include complex diary management to ensure key priorities are met, preparation of briefing notes, ensuring meetings are well prepared for and colleagues within the Chief Nursing Officer portfolio are appropriately organised.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a PA at Executive level, be able to work autonomously and have outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage complex and ever changing priorities, the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to short deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with personal resilience and remaining calm under pressure are essential as is the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels and work effectively as part of a team of highly motivated Executive Assistants.
The successful postholder will be based at the Headquarters of NCA at Salford Royal but will be flexible to work from any of the other Trust sites as required, with the opportunity for home working.
Internal 6 or 12 month secondment opportunities will be considered.
