Executive Assistant
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who will support the Chief Executive to deliver the charity’s ambitious goals.
Position: Executive Assistant
Location: Home based - some travel will be required within the UK
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Duration: Full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week – Flexible working considered

About the Role:
You will be the first point of contact for colleagues, trustees, and internal and external stakeholders seeking contact with the Chief Executive, ensuring that all callers/visitors receive an effective and professional response. Identifying and communicating information concerning relevant external issues that may affect the charity to the Chief Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and scheduling of the Chief Executive’s meetings and appointments
- Travel to be managed and arranged, ensuring travel is booked in advance, and effectively communicated
- To understand the needs of the Chief Executive’s stakeholders at all times
- Working closely with the charity Interpreter Coordinator to manage and support meetings, book venues, and liaise with venues
- Line Management of the PA to the Directors and all associated management duties
- Provide cover for the PA to Directors during times of absence
About you:
You will have previous experience in a similar role and have exceptional organisational and diary management skills.

They partner with the NHS and service providers across the country and are one of the UK’s largest employers of Deaf people, and most hearing staff in our projects and services are fluent sign language users.
