Executive Assistant (to the CIO)

Within Group Information Services (GIS) We deliver, manage and maintain the systems that support Computacenter’s business. This includes our IT infrastructure (network, e-mail, file/print, internet) and our core applications. What you’ll do
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant working for our Chief Information Officer. Working alongside the CIO the ideal candidate will be highly organised, have previous experience of working at Senior Leadership or Executive level, and has a ‘can do attitude’. This is a varied, fast-paced, and exciting role working with key stakeholders across the globe and at a senior level.
- Working for the CIO you will gain exposure to strategic planning, employee communications, leadership development, labour relations across multiple countries and compliance with local employment law. In addition, you will be required to support the CIO in producing board reports and papers by gathering relevant information and working with Global GIS Managers.
- In addition to extensive diary management, travel co-ordination and event organisation, you will also need to arrange international workshops and Work Council meetings. You will need to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality due to the nature of the information that you will have exposure to, and the application of discretion is a must.
What you’ll need
- Relevant experience of working as a senior PA or EA in a large global organisation
- Excellent relationship building skills at all levels and can quickly build relationships across the Computacenter network.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload to suit the demands of the role, be flexible and adaptable.
- Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, proof reading skills and good written English.
- Confidence in bringing new ways of working to drive improvements and simplification.
- Desire to work as part of project teams relevant to the role.
