Position Overview
Be a part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness and providing support in its local area. As the Executive Assistant, you will be assisting with the execution of the organization’s marketing efforts, ensuring all fundraising data and reporting integrity, while supporting events management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Microsoft Outlook calendar for the Chief Executive Officer in a professional manner
- Schedule Board meetings and communicate appropriate information to Board members
- Set up internal and external meetings
- Cover reception in the absence of the Office Manager
- Deposit checks into the organization’s bank account in the absence of the Office Manager
- Complete independent projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ year of high performance in a customer service or Executive Assistant role, preferred
- 1+ years of experience working in a human services organization, preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to convey important instructions and ideas accurately
- An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team and to promote the goals of the agency
- Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of staff
- Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend stairs up to three or more sets, frequently move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs., must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Compensation
- Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
