About you
It would help in you had an interest in what we do or have worked in a similar environment, but this is not essential. What is essential is that you have proven planning, organising and administrative skills. What will set you apart from other candidates will be your ability to collate, coordinate and make sense of all the information that will come your way. We are willing to invest in you even if you have less experience, providing that you have the right ‘can do’, proactive mindset; can get on with raucous colleagues; are able to multi-task at relative speed; and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
Below are some of the key responsibilities for this role:
- Support the leadership team with their administrative requirements
- Gather information from across the different teams and produce accurate reporting
- Coordinate all the necessary information and documents required for us to continue to achieve our ISO certification
- Manage our fleet of vehicles
- Diary management and travel/hotel bookings
- Create and format templates
- Answer the phone, to colleagues and clients; deal with enquiries or escalate as appropriate
Essential skills & experience
- At least 1 year+ of having managed admin tasks
- Proficient skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google Docs
- Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with accurate delivery
- Ability to adapt and juggle multiple task and deadlines
- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to get on with everyone at all levels
- Remaining calm under pressure will be essential in this role as it is a fast-paced workplace
What you can expect in return
- A starting salary between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, usually worked between 8:30 to 17:00
- Hybrid working after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period (4:1)
- A holiday allowance of 22 days per year, plus the English bank holidays
