Executive Assistant
London
As a Barclays Executive Assistant, you will be supporting the Global Head of Prime Structuring and Head of Prime EMEA Financing as well as providing general administrative support to the wider team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to provide support to Markets Front Office personnel including Trading and Structuring in a varied and busy role.

Colleagues who perform ‘onsite’ roles will spend four or five days a week working onsite, depending on the requirements of their role and business area. What will you be doing?
- Undertaking invoice processing, raising PO’s and vendor onboarding, and acting as first point of contact for external law firm and vendor billing queries
- Identifying, raising, and tracking IT Requests
- Undertaking extensive diary management, requesting, and organising meetings, conference calls and VCs
- Scheduling of client meetings, ensuring communication to all involved regarding logistics
- Booking of global travel and logistics, including visas where necessary, and ensuring T&E and compliance policy guidelines are followed when booking travel
- Raising Gifts and Entertainment compliance approvals
- Onboarding new team members and raising associated new joiner requests
- Providing cross-cover for other assistants in the wider team
- Exceptional communication skills - written and oral, with an ability to provide direction to others and ability to confidently engage and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- Highly organised, resilient and able to cope in fast-paced environment, being flexible and able to work across a range of issues with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work with confidentiality and discreetness and work independently but also within a broader team structure
- Excellent team player with willingness to help and resolve issues and possess a high degree of pro-activity and forward planning capability
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Proven Executive Assistant experience at senior management level
- Proficiency in MS Office packages
- High level of numeracy competency
- Investment Banking environment experience is preferred
