We are delighted to once again be partnering exclusively with our amazing client to recruit an Excel Administrator to join their small team.
This is a full time, temporary position for a period of 3 months which offers fully remote working.
Our client works across Scotland and maintain and inspect marine aids to navigation throughout its waters.

Salary
£15 per hour
Role Purpose
You will create a new database within Excel, imputing historic data regarding tenders and bills of quantities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a maintainable database with MS Excel
- Once created, inputting of 3 years of historic data into the database
- Tailor the database to calculate mean, average and median cost comparisons
- Allow inflationary indices to be applied to the data
- Write a procedure for maintaining and data input
- Create password protected access for sensitive data
Key Skills
- Solid experience creating Excel Databases
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel especially “V lookup tables”
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible and adaptable to change, strong problem-solving skills
- A team player
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated
Benefits
Up to £15 per hour.
This is a full time, temporary role working remotely. Our client does require you to work self-sufficiently with the majority of time working at home unless required in the office in Edinburgh City Centre.
