Utilities – Excavation Teams (Fibre)
Cambridge
On-going (project for 7 years +)
£120-£240 daily
It’s time to deliver an exciting new UK Fibre project, and you could be involved!
We are looking for Civils experienced Utilities Gangs to work in and around Norfolk on a high-capacity fibre upgrade scheme. This project is expected to last at least 7 years
CRS are looking to engage 2/3 person teams of Civils Experienced Skilled Groundworkers/Labourers. To be successful in your application, you must have experienced in Utilities based Civils works, and have the following current and valid tickets:
NRSWA (Units 1-6 + 9)
Mini digger
Excavator
Small tools covering stihl saw
The works?
On a day to day basis, you will be assisting with a multitude of tasks including:
Excavation
Duct laying
Reinstatement
Cable pulling/blowing
Clearing blockages
Block paving
Assisting with traffic management
General Civils duties
Civils Utilities (especially Fibre) experience would be ideal, but civils experience in other industries will be considered. Experience of working in a BT Openreach environment would also prove advantageous.
This project offers full time hours.
