Exams Officer

BG9 £27,852 - £30,151 (£23,557 - £25,501 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a highly efficient, enthusiastic and well-organised Exams Officer to manage the administration of both external and internal examinations within Ashton Park School.
This is a diverse and exciting role involving high levels of planning to ensure the accurate delivery of each exam session and provision to meet the needs of all of our students as well as efficiently manage a fantastic team of invigilators.
The successful candidate will need to be:
Highly efficient, organised and have a strong attention to detail
Have the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and have a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving
Be a team player and have the ability to work effectively individually as well as part of a wider team
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a calm and professional manner with staff, students and parents
Confident and proficient with IT with ability to quickly and accurately record information
This is an annualised hours contract, with 1,395 hours per year. 10 days will need to be worked during school holidays, including the examination result period in August.
