Overview:
Flexible Worker Contract
Location: Remote

About the role


We're excited to be looking for an Examiner for the NCFE T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years within our Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract.


As an Examiner, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Marking external assessments as required and submit results using our systems within set timescales
  • Following and maintaining the standard set by the chief examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately
  • Reporting suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the assessment delivery team
  • Attending examiner standardisation and training events, and other meetings as required – standardisation events will be scheduled for weekdays between the hours of 9.00am-5.00pm and may require travel to Newcastle
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details, and report any breaches to the assessment delivery team
We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • A professional qualification (at Level 4 or above) relating to the education/early years sector area
  • A minimum of 3 years current/recent teaching experience in the sector/subject at level 3 or higher or at least 3 years employment in the early years sector
  • An understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms
  • Have the ability to work consistently within tight deadlines
