Job description
Christ’s Hospital is looking to extend our team of exam invigilators who supervise pupils and ensure an appropriate environment is maintained during examination periods.
The ideal candidates will relate positively to all students, be extremely reliable and adaptable, with good verbal communication skills and the confidence, on occasions, to address large groups of students.
We are looking for people who are able to work in what can be a stressful environment with a great deal of calm and empathy. The role can involve standing for long periods and carrying bulky exam papers to and from allocated rooms.
Hours are flexible and successful applicants will be employed on a casual basis, with hours and days of work dependent on the examination timetable. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Benefits include 31 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) per annum (paid pro-rata), a stakeholder pension scheme for eligible staff, free on-site parking, low cost membership of the on-site Sports Centre and free lunch during term time when on duty.
