Location: Wolverhampton/Stafford
Contract Type: Zero Hours
Role
- To provide support to the examination process.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assisting with arrangements for the exam room;
- Directing students;
- Checking that the students have been presented with the correct exam;
- Making the invigilator announcement at the beginning of each exam;
- Monitoring a maximum of 20 students during any one session;
- Surveillance of students and observing the operation of the exams;
- Collecting all script booklets, rough workings and notes;
- Completing and submitting the invigilator report to the relevant awarding body at the end of each exam session;
- Providing details of any irregularities to the relevant awarding body in the invigilator report;
- Completing a written statement on any cases of suspected cheating and sending this, along with statements from the students involved, Invigilating during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidates and dealing with examination irregularities in accordance with strict procedures.
Experience
- Experience of working or studying in a higher education environment desirable.
Technical:
- An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is essential; and
- Previous knowledge experience of the Highfield Awarding Body is helpful in dealing with student queries

Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: Up to £12.50 per hour
