Title and Summary EVP Product and Commercial - Real Time Payments About the role: The EVP, Product & Commercial role within RTP is responsible for accelerating, extending, and scaling our real time capabilities within Mastercard. The incumbent will lead a team focused on domestic and cross border real time payment solutions, global market expansion, new product development, customer account management and commercialisation (which includes Customer Solutions Group & the Business Development Support Team). This role reports to the EVP of Real Time Payments and is a member of the RTP Leadership Team with management oversight of 280+ employees Responsibilities: Lead a function which has 3 key teams critical to the new RTP Operating Model: o Product o Customer Account Management o Commercialisation & Bid Own the design and execution of both the IPS & BPS strategy.Lead the end-to-end product function for International RTP as well as the commercialization program focused on expanding our reach and activity across the globe in addition continuing to manage and deliver to our existing customers in line with our commercial obligations.Develop the strategic roadmap to serve customers in international markets.Create partnerships with key strategic clients to deliver commercially viable solutions.Lead and execute with key principles of customer centricity, best-in-class customer and consumer experience all throughout the value chain for all stakeholders through the Customer Account Manager (CAM) model which has individual country accountability working with Mastercard regional teams – key internal relationship being Engineering in line with the P&E ModelAccountability for leading and motivating a large and diverse team, creating a high performing culture with a strong emphasis on professional development.Role modelling the behaviours represented in the Mastercard Way All About You/Key Requirements: Deep experience in payments across ecommerce, cards and/or RTPProven background in product development and management within the broader payments industryCommercial P&L leadership and contract negotiationStrength in connecting people and ideas; ability to operate in a matrix environment and establish effective working relationships across the business and geographies.Ability to develop strategies and execute at speed, driving for excellence in quality as well as deliver on time.Ability to champion strong integrated Product Development (P&E model)Demonstrate willingness to learn, ability to challenge the status quo with a constructive attitude.Proven consistent results delivered through teamwork and partnership.Highly developed people leadership experience within a in continuing changing environment; evidence of developing high performing teams with a strong focus on individual and team development.A strong customer mindset to deliver a ‘customer first’ and outside in culture within the team.A strong communicator and influencer both internally and externallyA strong decision maker in complex environmentEmulate and drive the Mastercard Way through their behaviour, coaching, and employee engagement.
