Part time, 18.5 hours per week

Monday: 08:00- 15:00 (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Tuesday: 08:00- 14:00 (no lunch break)

Wednesday: 08:00- 14:00 (no lunch break)

An opportunity has arisen for an Evidence Management Officer to work at High Wycombe. The purpose of the role is to receive all crime and drug property from police officers to ensure safe storage and documentation. Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential.

The Evidence Management Officer will be responsible for maintaining records for all property coming into Police possession, they will be competent in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to input, retrieve and present data using computer systems.

Other essential qualities are the ability to remain calm under pressure, work with minimal supervision, excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and understand the need for confidentiality.

The role is a physically active one and will require the post holder to be on their feet for a considerable percentage of the working day. They will be expected to lift / move heavy objects and satisfactorily complete a manual handling course (training will be provided).

A full driving licence is considered essential as capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner.
