Tooting and Mitcham Community Sports Club is a small business in Morden, SM4 6BF. We are customer-centric, social and engaging. We offers some of the most impressive facilities in non-league football including 2 full sized 3G Pitches, a Sports Bar, Events Hall, Soft Play and Commercial Catering unit, meaning there’s never a dull day.

We are seeking fun, energetic, and responsible individuals to join our event staff for weekend and night shifts up till 3am, which can include Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The successful candidates will be responsible for helping to facilitate events, including but not limited to, birthdays, weddings and funerals. This position is perfect for candidates who enjoy meeting new people and are comfortable interacting with diverse types of people.
The role is suitable for complete beginners but you do need to be at least 18 years old, be able to work on your own initiative and comfortable working with the public face to face.
The role is rotered monthly so we cannot guarantee a set amount of hours but can be flexible working around commitments when scheduling shifts.
Due to the late finish time of some shifts candidates should consider travel arrangements before applying.
Responsibilities:
- Service the needs of the guests and follow safety regulations.
- Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism to all guests and co-workers.
- Ensure event runs smoothly.
- Serve drinks and food to guests.
- Work under pressure.
- Manage money.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Salary: £7.39-£13.42 per hour
