Job description
Events Operations Officer Responsibilities:
- Oversee and take responsibility for the organisation and smooth running of all elements of the portfolio of events, ensuring a seamless and highly personal experience for stakeholders and VIP clients.
- Preparing reports on application data, benchmarking the programme against key competitors, and providing feedback on admissions systems
- Oversee the volunteer recruitment and acknowledgement strategy, ensuring that enough volunteers are available, that they are deployed in appropriate roles and that they are adequately briefed to support the successful delivery of the events
- Work with the Events Marketing and Communications Officer to ensure appropriate and timely sign-off on all communication channels as well as content and design work for collateral including the website, programme, volunteer booklet and invitations
- Build and maintain relationships across the College and beyond (e.g. with suppliers, neighbouring institutions, other HE institutions) to support the seamless and successful delivery of the events
- 1-2 years of Events delivery experience
- Higher education experience desirable, but not essential
- Experience of prioritising tasks and managing busy workloads successfully to ensure that deadlines are met
- Proven experience as a cooperative team member who can also work independently
