FLANNELS
is looking for a dynamic Events and Marketing Manager to support with driving our Liverpool Flannels Flagship store to its optimum potential. The store offers a wide variety of things from Fashion, Beauty and Treatments, Barry’s Bootcamp classes, F&B and Personal Shopping experiences. Our events manager will plan and organise promotional, business, and social events. You’ll be responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly, liaising with our head office marketing and retail team to guarantee we’re following a luxury standard. The events and marketing manager will oversee the whole process from planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a wider team split between the store and head office.


Job Description


  • Aligning with our head office and store teams to work towards a common goal
  • Planning, organising and managing instore events
  • Managing multiple internal and external event budgets
  • Managing event/promotional staff
  • Managing multiple suppliers and agencies
  • Working with local businesses/influencers/VIPS to help build engagement
  • Working across multiple projects
  • Building Keynote and PPT presentations for brands (training can be provided)
  • Communicating with internal and external teams so all relevant parties are involved in the event - content, social, PR, legal, etc
  • Compiling post event reports and feedback
  • Confidently dealing with internal group divisions, like Logistics, Retail Insights, Senior Leadership, Marketing and PR, Brand Partnerships, E-commerce

Qualifications


  • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills when looking for the best prices regarding each element of an event
  • Previous project management experience within retail or hospitality
  • Experience in managing high budgets both internally and externally
  • Administrative and IT skills
