Summary of Job Function:
The Events Marketing Assistant (EMA) has a key supporting role on a wide range of marketing activities across our 100+ live and online event campaigns. You will be expected to work alongside and support the events marketing team as well as work independently to deliver your own responsibilities. You will share the teams’ energy and proactively contribute to achieving its targets. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring creative and effective solutions and the confidence to share your ideas with the wider team.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, this is the perfect role for an individual with a related qualification to break into the world of marketing.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the marketing team to deliver campaigns for events across the digital and live portfolios;
- Working with the creative team to prepare and maintain marketing collateral;
- Liaising with various teams to ensure event website are up to date;
- Work with the sales team to supply collateral for clients;
- Prepare email messages;
- Coordinating and fulfilling digital advertising on RMMs website and newsletters;
- Posting on social media channels;
- Coordinate, fulfil and track contra agreements with supporting organisations and media partners;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil ad hoc deliverables;
- Collecting and collating data and insights across various digital channels for reporting.
Skills and Experience:
- Enthusiasm, drive and a willingness to learn;
- Managing multiple tasks across a number of events and prioritising according to deadlines without compromising quality;
- Great communication skills;
- Ability to learn new systems and champion their application for the events marketing function;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Hold a related qualification.
