Background
The Employer Engagement team at City, University of London (“City”) focusses on developing, growing maintaining relationships with a variety of employers. The team also keep abreast of news and developments cross sector the Higher Education (HE) sector. We also help employers navigate the range of events and options for building and maintaining recruiter profiles at City, and organises our programme of recruitment and employability events, including Fairs, Employer Presentations, Skills Workshops and other adhoc employer-led events.
Responsibilities
Based within the Employer Engagement team, the Events and Administration Assistant will provide administrative support and handle event logistics to all general Employer Engagement activity with a focus on supporting the delivery of events.
Person Specification
The post holder will undertake administration of two shared mailboxes, feedback collection from students and analysis of certain events and speak to employers regarding event logistics and joining instructions once they are booked and confirmed to deliver on campus. The post holder will work closely with our Information Team to provide up to date information on all Employer Engagement events, feeding into the creation of marketing and the smooth implementation of their marketing strategy. The post holder will also provide general information, administrative and marketing support to the wider Careers Service.
