Job description

We are looking for SIA Event/Festival Security to join our expanding team at major events & festivals across the Midlands and UK wide for our summer season 2023.

Duties whilst on shift:

  • Checking a person’s suitability to enter an event/festival and refusing those that don’t meet the entry criteria
  • Ticket validation, physical body and bag searches
  • Controlling access points/ exit gates and site perimeter patrolling
  • Responding & reporting to incidents as they occur, on occasion ejecting unsuitable individuals
  • Supporting customers by utilising effective customer service skills
  • Crowd control – directing foot traffic, queue management, maintaining order, reporting anti-social behaviour.
  • Maintaining security by guarding property and/ or equipment

About you, what we require:

  • A valid in-date SIA Door Supervisor licence
  • Have strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • An approachable manner with superb customer facing skills
  • The ability to handle confrontational situations whilst remaining calm & professional at all times
  • Smart & Presentable

  • Team Player

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
