You will be representing Mercedes-Benz World onsite, Sales Executives are based in the office Monday-Friday and office open hours are 08:00 -17:30 – subject to business demands (42.5 hours per week).
The role will involve daily communication with clients and internal team members over email, over the phone and in person on site visits where you are expected to deliver an excellent level of customer service. Previous experience in a sales role within an events venue is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with incoming sales enquiries via our website, over the phone or through our Third party listings.
- Receiving client’s requirements and presenting bespoke proposals to suit their event needs.
- Manage event diary to strategically sell event spaces and activities on the venues booking system.
- Manage prospect opportunities, ensuring that they are followed up with and closed effectively, within necessary timeframe.
- Negotiate with clients to ensure we convert enquiries to profitable and successful events.
- Effectively handover from sales to one of the team’s event coordinators, ensuring all details are passed over correctly.
- Communicate company policies and processes to clients effectively so they are aware of any restrictions prior to agreeing to their event contract.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to prospect new business.
- Bring in new business through pro-active sales including networking, site visits, calls and trade shows.
- Manage your sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets in line with KPI’s.
- Attend team meetings and come up with new ideas on how to generate new business leads and increase sales.
- Host site visits and FAM trips at the venue to potential new clients.
- Review lost business and touching base with these clients.
- Review forecasts and highlighting risks and opportunities.

Previous experience in an event sales environment is essential for this role.
The Role:
The salary will be £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
