Job Title: Freelance Event Planner

Known for transforming ordinary gatherings into extraordinary spectacles, we combine world-renowned music artists, comprehensive event management services, and disruptive digital innovations to provide immersive event experiences. As we expand, we are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organized Freelance Event Planner to collaborate with our elite team.

Our Approach:

  • Event Discovery: We kick off our engagement by understanding your needs and preferences. We aim to get a crystal-clear vision of your ideal event experience.
  • Planning and Coordination: With the vision in mind, we work closely with you to create a detailed event plan. Our coordination with vendors and other parties ensures everything runs smoothly.
  • Set Up and Implementation: We start bringing the plan to life, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure all elements of the event are seamlessly executed.
  • Experience Delivery: The final step is where everything comes together. Your vision comes to life, transforming an event into an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow our unique approach to event planning: from the discovery phase to the delivery of the experience.
  • Plan, design, and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits.
  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our in-house team and trusted partners for seamless end-to-end event management and delivery.
  • Incorporate digital innovations into event planning to create immersive experiences for clients.
  • Work closely with the talent management team to source and secure world-renowned music artists and DJs for events.
  • Conduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals.
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders.
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize events.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes.

Additional Duties:
As a key freelance contributor to Crown, the Event Planner will be expected to contribute to the growth of the company. This includes generating leads for potential new business, which comes with a commission percentage for each successful lead.

Requirements:

  • Proven event management experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital in the event industry.
  • Impressive portfolio of previously managed high profile events (weddings, parties, corporate events, launches, music events etc.)
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
