About the role:
We're seeking an experienced Event Manager to support our growing events roster. The ideal candidate will hold a proven track record in managing and executing partnership events, including C-Level participation from leading UK companies. There is also potential for involvement in additional internal events, which could be small scale through to global involvement. You will have a proactive, solutions oriented approach to delivering successful events and preferably have solid contacts within the industry to enable the launches.
Contract: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Event Strategy: Collaborate with program areas, communications, and community teams to develop event strategies that align with Stability AI's overall strategy and branding. Focus on achieving measurable results through thoughtful event design and execution.
- Event Programming: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the desired messaging, content, and goals throughout the event. Develop and write communications for various event stages, such as save the date, registration, social media, and surveys.
- Event Production: Create exceptional event programs that leave a lasting impact on the audience. Utilize expertise in AV, show flows, digital and mobile aspects, distributed content, space allocation planning, staffing, expo/trade show floors, attendee journey planning, and registration.
- Operations: Demonstrate operational excellence in managing budgets, stakeholders, marketing and creative teams, F&B/menu planning, security, registration, facilities, shipping, and event logistics partners. Ensure flawless event operations by managing RFPs, vendor/partner relationships, and project plans and staying informed about event technology and trends.
- Event Measurement: Establish measurement criteria and maintain a feedback loop with cross-functional teams to evaluate event effectiveness continually, aligning with Stability's overall strategy and branding.
Qualifications (or ideal qualities)
- Proven experience setting up and leading key company events (preferably within tech)
- Ability to think pragmatically and acting as a company ambassador
- Ability to manage ambiguity; anticipate business outcomes; act with agility; find new ways to collaborate
- Able to cultivate strong relationships internally and with partners, sponsors, vendors to deliver seamless events
- Experience working with local UK vendors and contacts within the tech industry
