Marketing Events Manager
Salary: C£40k to £45k depending on skills and experience

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Events Manager to join my client based in Hull. As a Marketing Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing various events to enhance our brand experience, drive sales, engage with the community, and foster business relationships. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences and ensure their successful implementation from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Create a detailed event plan for each quarter and the year, outlining objectives, strategies, timelines, and resources required.
Organise and coordinate a variety of events, including brand experience events, sales events, community events, and business events.
Develop and manage event budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial goals are met.
Research, identify, and secure appropriate hyperlocal events in the communities we serve, leveraging local partnerships and opportunities.
Brief and collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion materials, such as flyers, brochures, digital content, and other collateral to support the event.
Utilise social media platforms and other marketing channels effectively to generate event awareness, drive attendance, and maximise exposure.
Lead and coordinate both internal and external event support, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown, including logistics, vendor management, onsite coordination, and attendee experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Marketing Events Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating successful event planning and execution.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional event experiences.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen to ensure cost-effective event planning.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver innovative event solutions.
Familiarity with social media platforms and other digital marketing channels to drive event awareness and engagement.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event setup, execution, and attendance.
