What you'll be doing:
Reporting to our Head of Events you will manage client relationships and oversee the entire event process, from initial sale to event delivery. You will conduct site visits, contract negotiations, and invoicing for events, ensuring all details are accurately documented.
Daily collaboration with the Events Operations team to communicate client requirements and provide operational support is paramount to this role.
More about the role:
Coordinate with internal departments, such as finance, logistics, chefs, AV teams security and housekeeping. Additionally, building strong relationships with internal departments such ad Development, Directors, and Learning, to plan and execute events for donors, press nights, sponsor events, and board meetings
Proactively drive commercial and external sales activities, converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities
Maintain sales collateral and ensure the accurate maintenance of the customer relationship management (CRM) database
Foster strong relationships with partners, including KERB Food, National Theatre, and Compass Group/Levy
Continuously improve practices and processes introduced during the launch phase, identifying areas for enhancement
Overseeing of Commercial events – including all planning and final sale practices, from point of contract and upselling to clients where possible, overseeing the event process from initial sale through to event delivery
Working closely with Lime Venue Portfolio and the Head of Events to create a cohesive sales strategy
Completing daily and weekly invoicing and collating P&L reports
Create and distribute financial reporting for event invoices
Maintaining the general events schedule and coordinating the timeline for all events to ensure that the process runs smoothly and supporting the Events team to run a cohesive service

Who you are:
Previous experience in sales and events management, preferably in the food and beverage industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferably Delphi
Experience of working with a range of budgets and financial acumen
Proficiency in contract negotiation, invoicing, and event planning
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current trends
High level of professionalism and ability to represent the organization effectively
Passionate about food, events, and an effective sales strategy
