Job description

An exciting permanent opportunity as an Events Manager for a professional services company!

Visits and Event Manager Responsibilities:
  • Managing large and complex visits and events
  • Preparing and managing end-to-end logistical project phases (event/visit programmes, workstreams, milestones, budgets), and delivering the projects to scope, on time and within budget
  • Contributing to policy planning, to establish key goals and policy outcomes for visits and events and best methods for securing the desired outcomes, including researching and suggesting creative but practicable options based on key goals and current policy interests
  • Sourcing external venues, accommodation, event management and catering providers for visits, events and Post projects
  • Contributing to briefings and distributing these to staff prior to official visits
Visits and Event Manager Responsibilities:
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A high level of judgement and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work within a team
  • Strong focus on providing high-quality professional service and customer focus, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
