Reaseheath College is one of the premier land-based College located in South Cheshire with an enviable reputation for quality and partnerships with industry. The College has a beautiful rural setting situated amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake, woodland and sports facilities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the existing outstanding team in Equine to support the commercial and events team, predominantly in the running of a range of equestrian events. You will be expected to mentor, lead and support the equine events team. Drive and develop the commercial aspects of the business, co-ordinate and administer all full cost and commercial activity in the Equine department in line with the Area Action Plan which builds the reputation of the College and maximises learner and customer experience. There will be some requirements to support and deliver commercial pedagogic activities which contribute towards high quality, effective and relevant learning experiences. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business and support our outstanding provision for all.
You will possess a minimum level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent Equine Event industry experience. BHS Stage 3 Coach qualification or equivalent (or willingness to work towards) is desirable, Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards, demonstrable industry experience, as well as experience planning and delivering high quality successful equestrian events. You will be self-motivated and able to work flexibly, enthusiastically as part of a busy team and on own initiative.
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
