Excellent opportunity to join the proactive Sales team at this world famous University, based in London.
Hybrid role! Excellent salary plus 33 days holiday plus bank holiday. Cost of living increase (around 6-10%) plus Salary increase every year (roughly another £2,000-£2,500 per annum).
You will need to be able to demonstrate a proactive sales background ideally in Conferences, Meetings and Events. You will be commercially savvy and eager to develop the wide variety of events spaces.
You will :
- Pro-actively market and sell all accommodations, events and catering and other associated services available during the holiday period to optimise accommodation occupancy and income
- Initiate sales visits to client premises and organise corporate hospitality activities to generate interest
- Research businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new strategic clients and markets
- Negotiating business terms with new clients
- Attend trade shows, networking events and other industry events ensuring measured outcomes to develop business opportunities
- Follow up on sales opportunities, exploring opportunities that align with the strategy
- Utilise social media platforms to promote the business and expand reach
- Investigate and make full use of sales leads for all sectors, targeting existing and new markets and clients
- Build strong relationships with key commercial agencies and bodies
