JOB TITLE: Event Assistant
REPORTING TO: Food & Beverage Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
The role is to support the hospitality and events department, or ticket department and provide support to our matchday and event operations here at Notts County Football Club.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve all customers in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner at all times. Ensuring supporters and guests always receive the highest standard of customer service.
- Working as part of a team, you are to be able to advise supporters and guests on all products available within the venue.
- Maintain stock levels and rotation within work and storage areas in order to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking, whilst also ensuring the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments and other appropriate sundries in line with predetermined stock levels and business need.
- To assist with room setups ahead of matchdays and other events.
- To serve food and beverages to all supporters and guests efficiently, cleaning down and carrying out all necessary duties as required by your manager.
- Keep the area of work and public areas clean and tidy before, during and after opening hours and to undertake cleaning duties as required, paying particular attention to health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
- Adhere to and follow all licensing policies and procedures.
- Handle cash, stock and equipment in a secure manner.

SKILLS & QUALITIES
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Have a passion for hospitality and ability to work with a smile on your face whatever the weather.
- Always provide great service and be committed to being a team player.
- Be smart, polite, professional and well presented at all times.
- Experience working in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
