Professional Growth and Support:

Client-Centered Care:
Our mission is to put our clients' preferences at the forefront of every decision. We create customized care packages that go beyond their needs and cater to their desires. From a weekly ice cream outing to cheering on the Swans at a football game, we make dreams come true. This unique approach means you'll experience a diverse range of calls, making every day on the job exciting.
Meaningful Connections:
We're all about building relationships that matter. When you join us, we'll match you with clients who share your personality and interests. This commitment to continuity means you can forge meaningful connections and spend quality time with your clients. Our focus on longer calls (1 hour or more) lets you slow down and provide the best care possible.
Your Role:
As a Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with group activities and outings.
- Helping with shopping and meal preparation.
- Providing dementia care with empathy and patience.
- Handling light domestic tasks.
- Accompanying clients to appointments.
- Administering or reminding clients about medication.
- Offering support with personal care when needed.
Your Hours:
For this role we are asking for availability between 4pm and 8pm on 4 to 5 days a week, with optional weekends. Considering travel time, this will mean a maximum of 3 calls per evening, as all of our calls are always an hour or more. We also pay for the time you spend travelling between calls, meaning total weekly hours will be between 12 to 16. Should you wish to work more hours, there are overtime opportunities.
Your Qualifications:
With Home Instead, we hire you for YOU, not your qualifications. As long as you have the desire to support our clients, then we can train the rest!
