Job Title: EV Operations Manager
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Location: Slough, OR Glasgow
Job Summary:
Overseeing the daily operations and activities of one of the UKs leading ICP and EV Chargepoint installation companies. Responsible for managing an array of outputs from grid connections, full installation of electric vehicle chargers and civil engineering services. This role requires an experienced operations manager who has a technical understanding of EV functionality and an ability to coordinate and manage resources efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage and prioritise time whilst concurrently working on a number of projects
- Maintain relationships between key stakeholders and updating them on project lifecycle
- Provide operational support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance
- Manage activities associated with EV infrastructure projects (ICP/DNO/ Network infrastructure)
- Engage in monthly cost and value reconciliation
- Managing teams of varied professionals
- Provide operational support in the procurement of all sub-contractors and suppliers
Requirements:
- Operations and project management / coordination experience working across multifunctional organisation
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field e.g. civil engineering / construction management or other electrical related subjects
- Experienced within electrical infrastructure
- Ability to maintain and build relationships with stakeholders and customers
- Knowledge of NERS and electrical distribution industry & HSE legislation
- Experience of delivering projects on time and to key milestone stages within budget
- Excellent understanding of electrical designs of LV/HV operations
- Confident understanding of DNO/IDNO/ICP procedures for both LV and HV connections from conception through to connection
- Full UK driving License
