We are working on behalf of a client looking for a part-time Vendor Marketing Manager for a 12-month contract. Our client works with IT innovators, ecosystem partners and technology talent to achieve great outcomes. They partner with the entire technology ecosystem to manage relentless transformation, execute confidently, and evolve to capture opportunities up ahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Managers across the regions to define and develop marketing strategies to drive profitable growth
- Identify, establish and maintain relationships with brand partners and third-party vendors to leverage current offerings, opportunities and successes.
- Increase agreed-upon growth goals, drive demand generation and expand market share by identifying, planning and executing the activities required to ensure successful achievement of marketing business objectives.
- Market products/brands within budget to obtain maximum profitability.
- Evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets.
- Identify and cultivate key relationships with influencers applicable. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for assigned brand and manage MDF budgets to maximize ROI.
- Continually collaborate with internal peers, and/or suppliers to effectively define, develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Develop and/or implement marketing policies and objectives.
- Manage the introduction of new programs or features.
- Work with local countries to manage, plan and execute marketing plans being able to report on the outcome of campaigns and total spend.
- Work with the finance administrator to collate all proof of performance and ensure all vendor MDF claiming is submitted in a timely manner.
- Define the internal and external communication strategy for areas of responsibility.
- Develop, implement and/or maintain all standardized marketing methodologies, tools and collateral of the assigned area ensuring consistent look and feel for internal and external communications.
- Coordinate and manage applicable events.
- Contract and work with outside vendors for development and delivery of marketing programs.
- May engage in contract negotiations.
- Manage target based marketing income and profit.
- May manage fee-based marketing programs focused on targeted markets.
- Experience of working in B2B Technology marketing & IT Channel (5+ years)
- Good negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word);
- Knowledge of and experience in ROI reporting
