Etc. Product Researcher
- Responsible for the delivery of product and customer UX / UI research from during all stages of the lifecycle, including technology and product functionality and features
- Drive adoption of multiple user research methods, contributing to the development of a shared approach for qualitative and quantitative research that embraces various methodologies
- Contribute to implementing the Digital and Etc. strategy, support inputting direction of findings into the wider Digital teams (working with the group insights team when appropriate)
- Work with other researchers and multi-skilled teams to support research that helps qualify and refine customer solutions
- Responsible for clearly and simply collating findings and inputting in an impactful way into the customer solution, ensure research provides actionable recommendations without duplication
- Responsible for enabling sharing of research findings across relevant teams
- Implement the testing & research process, including the use of both generative and summative research
- Continuously improving the practice and deployment of user research across Etc.
- Requires extensive experience across user research methodologies with an in-depth understanding of Digital accessibility, ensuring use of assistive technologies
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with an intrinsic ability to keep it simple
- Continually finding ways to deliver more value to both the customer and business
- Have experience driving efficient ways of working, looking to use strategic thinking and planning to create a best in class operating model
- Entrepreneurial and flexible in your approach, removing barriers to deliver results

- Track record of discovering issues and user needs through qualitative learning using a wide range of research methods including moderated lab-based and unmoderated testing
- Qualitative behavioural analysis, feeding data and analytics to drive understanding of user actions, using formative and summative user research activities
- Formative and summative user research activities including exploratory methods, interviews, ethnographic studies, surveys, mental modelling, card sorting, etc.
- Running research sessions and lab sessions, involving and up-skilling others around you on research activities, knowledge and abilities
- Enabling accessible and inclusive design
