The Estates Management function is central to the effective and efficient delivery of all HCC services – from adult social care to children’s services, and from highways to countryside – to over 1.4 million residents, plus provides support to some external public sector clients too.
The role is based in HCC’s award-winning Property Services team, one of the largest in-house property functions in local government, with over 400 staff covering multi-disciplinary design, property management and estates functions. Holding considerable expertise in the stewardship of the public estate, HCC owns and manages over 10,000 buildings across more than 1,000 sites.
