Can you deliver customer focused Estate Services?

We’re looking for a skilled Estate Services Operative to bring their expertise to the Estate Services Team. You’ll enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and our customers.

With experience of caretaking and grounds maintenance, you’ll be responsible for cleaning the internal and external areas and grounds maintenance to a high standard. You’ll be responsible for communicating requirements and reporting incidents and for the cleanliness and condition of a Clarion vehicle and the tools within.

In addition to managing work schedules and maintaining records you’ll be able to use a range of tools and carry out cleaning tasks and monitor estate activity. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, good customer care skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Some of the key duties include: -
  • Rotating bins regularly to ensure refuse chutes are clear
  • Making sure bulk bins are placed ready for collection
  • Sweeping and washing communal staircases and landings
  • Cleaning internal ledges, handrails and doors
  • Clearing leaves from grassed areas and pathways
You’ll often work alone and will need to be self-motivated to organise your own time effectively.

You’ll be proactive in your daily activities and aware of safe working practices, and be able to deal with members of the public, staff and community representatives in a courteous and professional manner.
