Stow Estate Trust is a family run country Estate close to Downham Market. It manages Church Farm - rare breeds centre, tenanted rental properties, Stow Hall Gardens, arable farming interests, shooting & fishing.
Estate Administrator ( part-time, 25 hours)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator with proven communication and organisational skills.
The role is primarily to support the owners across all aspects of Estate management and provide effective record keeping for all farming activities.
The candidate must be able to take on responsibility, show initiative and pay attention to detail. You will be working closely with the owners, the office team and other members of staff. Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
Management of the rental properties is a core requirement for this position, to include finding tenants, contracts, keeping up to date with new legislation, managing repairs and tenant liaison, therefore previous experience in this area would be advantageous.
Administration of Church Farm – rare breeds centre is also part of this role to include livestock administration, advertising & social media.
Core skills to include:-
· Previous experience of farm business administration
· Experience of managing rental properties
· Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a team, be to able to problem solve, multitask and possess a positive attitude
· Competent with Microsoft office and the ability to learn our other bespoke office systems
· You would be working in a small team, based in a converted barn in a rural location, so a driving licence is essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 38 per week
Salary: £15,600.00 per year
