Game Master- Escape Room Weekends.

Starting £10.00per hour –

This position is a zero hour contract working weekends and Bank Holidays, once you are trained and have successfully completed the probation period, regular hours may be agreed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this family run, Escape Room venture which has been operating for 18 months. As a Games Master you will aid in creating the exciting high-end experience for the guests.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Greeting guests, explaining the rules, including listing health & safety and fire information, introducing the chosen room.
- Managing the game experience, providing support to the teams in the form of clues and assistance, ensuring players are safe and providing a fun experience.
- Presenting the debrief, giving time cards, taking photos, any general observations and answering any questions after the games are played.
- Setting up the rooms prior to the activity ensuring they are ready and working for the next group.
- Marketing including assisting with social media adverts, promoting the Escape Rooms where instructed, leaflet distribution, trade shows as requested.
- Help with any prop repairs or new prop making where possible.
- General duties including cleaning and sanitising rooms and communal areas, assisting other members of the team.
The ideal cadidate will have a bright welcoming manner, be confident in presenting to groups of up to 6 people and strive to make sure the guests get the best from the experience. The Games Master must be flexible, understand enjoy the activity and provide an excellent customer service.
This is a fun, energetic position, working within a small team. Experience of working with groups of people, within the entertainment/hospitality industry would be advantageous.
