New Craigs Hospital provides Mental Health care through the Highlands. You would be working on a rotational basis throughout the different wards within the site. Affric - IPCU 10 bedded secure ward, Morar -24 bedded General Adult Acute ward, Ruthven - 24 bedded Specialist Dementia Unit, Bruar - 8 bedded Secure Rehab, Aonach Mor - 14 bedded Rehab unit, Morlich - 12 bedded Older Adult Acute, Willows - 6 bedded Assessment and Treatment Unit for Learning Disability and Mental Health.
You would be working as part of highly motivated and encouraging teams, who adopt a person centred approach to care, always aiming for a positive patient experience of admission.
The successful candidates will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. This position would suit a conscientious, kind, enthusiastic and motivated individual.
Previous experience in a care setting is desirable as this is a busy and physically demanding post. We require someone who is able to cope with these demands, who can work well within a team and has a calm and friendly nature.
