Equities Derivatives Business Analyst
London
As a Barclays Equities Derivatives Business Analyst, you will have an exciting opportunity to work on business requests that involve gathering requirements and analysis on the front to back end of the post trade and pre trade worlds. You will work with a variety of stakeholders including testers, developers, users, and support teams. Moreover, you will be accountable for ensuring that all work is carried out in line with regulatory and risk policies as well as other trade control requirements.

- Gathering, verifying, and documenting requirements from the business and internal IT team
- Driving platform and process enhancements
- Covering front to back analysis in pre-trade to post-trade worlds
- Interacting with business teams directly for business and technological needs
- Collaborating closely with developers, testers, users, and support teams in project deliveries
- Reporting status and escalate issues to IT management
- A technology or finance related degree
- Work experience in financial institution as a business analyst
- Sound knowledge in derivatives (Equity, FX, or Rates)
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Work experience in structured products platforms, including pricing, booking, document and issuance
- Understanding of a programme language (Java, Python, C#, or any other languages)
- Programming experience at work
- Experience in multi-asset-classes projects
