Overview
Sophisticated Recruitment are working with an exciting brokerage backed by leading investment banks who are seeking experienced equity derivative brokers to join the team in London. You will report to the head of EQD and the role offers excellent career progression opportunities. Our client are redefining broking by using modern automated matching, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
In order to be considered, you must have experience at large, well known brokerages in London and have experience with equity derivatives and a developed broker network. Salary in region of £70,000 – £100,000 base dependant on experience + commission. Salary may be negotiable depending on experience and seniority.
You will be expected to;
- Execute orders via several different strategies for multiple asset types and understand the full trading lifecycle, with a focus on equity derivatives.
- Pro-actively contribute evolve and innovate the trading processes to enhance efficiencies, reduce cost and/or reduce risk.
- Build relationships with the broker community.
Required experience
- Current employment at a well know brokerage (2+ years)
- Experience with equity derivatives
- Degree in a relevant field preferred
- Able to commute to London on a regular basis
