The role is responsible for analysing and interpreting economic developments and key trends in equity markets, as well as assessing macro trends around oil & gas as commodities and providing views for internal/external clients.
This will involve conducting bespoke research and analysis, as well as participating in and creation of presentations, conferences, seminars and media coverage and the attending of expert events and corporate access.
- Working with a team of analysts responsible for coverage of Oil & Gas
- Build, develop and maintain comprehensive financial models
- Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Perform value-add analysis and interpret data on market and economic events to identify and describe trends
- Prepare pre and post-results updates on your covered companies
- Attend and report on corporate events, roadshows, company presentations and conferences
- Experience as an Equity Research within the Oil and Gas sector
- Proven experience of financial modelling or evaluating companies
- An excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills
- A team-player who enjoys knowledge sharing and collaborating with your colleagues
