Job description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Fabricate prototype assemblies (primarily steel and aluminum) using standard shop tools
Prototype quick-turn assemblies with MIG welding
Assemble Exosystems and perform installations on autonomous equipment
Test hardware assemblies and components, refine and improve designs
Run autonomous heavy equipment to support R&D
Operate heavy equipment for testing and facility upkeep
Perform equipment and facility maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized workshop
Flexible in-person at our office in San Francisco and at our test yard in San Martin

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent hands-on technical ability, including prototype design and fabrication, soldering, and metalworking
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in data entry, checklists, and organization
Able to adapt to changing conditions and priorities as needed, pick up new skills, and do what it takes to get the job done
Work safely through adverse site conditions
Ability to drive trucks, operate heavy equipment and lift 60 lbs

The starting annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 to 100,000. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications, working location, and market demands. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation, benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, cell phone and internet reimbursement and more.
