Job description

Planning and Organisational Responsibilities Operate electronic systems appropriately in relation to medical device records and consumables and to ensure that computerised records for the medical devices are maintained and updated. To work closely with the Medical Devices Team to assist with scheduled and unscheduled work across the region to order to provide for sufficient equipment to meet operational needs of the service. Responsible for exchanging equipment for service, inspection or repair and checking basic functionality on fitment to the vehicle. Responsible for the replacement of defective equipment whether on vehicles or station/area spare equipment store. Responsible for ensuring that equipment is collected and delivered to contractors for any repairs, modifications and upgrade as and when required. Responsible for ensuring that all associated movement/inspection documents are completed for traceability/audit purposes Working closely with the Head of Medical Equipment Department, Operational Managers, Operational Staff and Workshop staff to record, report and where possible, resolve any medical hard item faults or associated vehicle defects To ensure that a full complement of spare pool equipment at the allocated locations and that all movements both to and from the workshop are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Issue stock to vehicles as required Organising with, and contacting CS /LM to get access to equipment needed either on station or vehicles To able to use tracking systems to locate all YAS vehicles Please see job description and person specification for full role description.
